So, I have decided to update this thing, after over 9000 years of it collecting dust. So, today I will be writing a small poem about Jimmy Bruno and Sean Cooper from the Cold Case episode, "Forever Blue". For those who haven't seen it, the episode is phenomenal. It is set in 1968, a time when homosexuality was not tolerated. Jimmy and Coop are two Philly police officers who are partners and harbor a secret relationship. The episode centers around the case of Sean Cooper's death. It was so refreshing to see a different portrayal of homosexuals in the media. Also, it should be known that this episode was the first time a male to male kiss (on the mouth) was ever featured on prime time tv. Anyways, on to the poem: A forbidden love, Doomed but still hopeful Pleading, begging, desperate A kiss that only the moon and stars knew of A relationship spoken with more then words Fear, prejudice, anger, death, regret A relationship that died before it really lived Last words spoken with desperate resolution "We were the lucky ones, don't forget that."
